Maxus has started the commercialization in Spain of its new range of electric vans. Some light commercial vehicles known as eDelivery that boast a maximum range of over 350 kilometers. The new eDelivery 3 and eDelivery 9 are already priced.
The Maxus brand, backed by the Chinese giant SAIC, has kicked off the marketing of its new range of electric vans in Spain. The company specialized in fully electric mechanics commercial vehicles is determined to become a relevant player in this important sector. To do this, it has introduced two new models. The Maxus eDelivery 3 and the Maxus eDelivery 9.
These new electric vans They already have a price and can be requested at the dealerships that Maxus has throughout the Spanish territory. To differentiate itself from the models of European origin that already circulate on our roads, the Asian firm offers a guarantee of 8 years (or 160,000 kilometers) for the batteries and prices that, once the available aids are discounted, are very interesting.
Maxus eDelivery 3, an electric van to take on the city
It is the most affordable electric model available in the Maxus range. The new eDelivery 3
it is available in two body sizes. On the one hand we have the short chassis whose length reaches 4.55 meters and cubes a load volume of 4.8 m3. And on the other hand, there is the long chassis model that measures 5.14 m long and its total cargo volume reaches 6.3 m3.
Maxus allows you to choose between two sizes of lithium-ion battery, one of 35 kWh and another from 53 kWh. Both batteries are offered for both bodies. The electric motor develops a power of 90 kW (122 hp) and 255 Nm of maximum torque. Power is sent to the front axle and the maximum speed is 120 km / h. It is electronically limited. The autonomy according to the WLTP cycle is 158 kilometers for the 35 kWh model and 240 km for the 53 kWh model respectively.
Among the most outstanding equipment we find electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, hill start assistant, LED lights for daytime running, automatic lights, cruise control and speed limiter, air conditioning, electric windows, central locking with remote control. remote control, height-adjustable, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, heated seats, rear-view camera, 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB connection, Bluetooth and DAB + digital radio.

The new eDelivery 9
is one notch above eDelivery 3. Also available as two body sizes, short and long. The short model (L2H2) measures 5.54 meters long and its cargo area cubes a volume of 9.7 m3. The long variant (L3H2) is 5.94 m long and has a total cargo volume of 11.0 m3. The payload reaches 1,160 kg at best. In both cases it has three seats in front.
As far as the propulsion system is concerned, the protagonist is an electric motor of 150 kW (204 hp) and 310 Nm of maximum torque. An engine that can be accompanied by a lithium-ion battery of 52 kWh, one of 72 kWh or one of 89 kWh. Logically the autonomy will vary depending on the battery and the size of the body. The 52 kWh battery sets a range of 186 kilometers. The 72 kWh allows to improve this figure to 236 km and the larger battery, which is only offered for the long model, declares a range of 296 km respectively.
The standard equipment is very extensive. Among its equipment we will find 16-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and heated exterior rear view mirrors, blind spot detection, hill start assistant, lane change assistant, LED headlights, fog lights, emergency call system and -Call, cruise control and speed limiter, air conditioning, electric windows, central locking with remote control, heated seats, 10.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB connection, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and multifunction steering wheel adjustable in height.
