This week the CES 2020 was held , a fair that despite being focused on technological advances , as the years go by it increasingly resembles an AutoShow ; That’s why we present the cars that dazzled and impressed critics, specialized press and attendees.
Vision AVTR Concept
If there was a presentation that stole the show and the attention of the attendees of the Consumer Electronic Show was the concept vehicle of Mercedes-Benz: Vision AVTR that not only stands out for its futuristic design but for the technological and ecological innovation that it integrates.
It is an electric and autonomous vehicle that is based on the James Cameron tape ; The car shows the future of mobility of the German manufacturer in which the relationship between the machine, human beings and nature stands out.
Its exterior design is inspired by some of the creatures that inhabit the Avatar ribbon . It has 33 bionic fins in the back, which remind us of any Pandora reptile and that provide energy to the battery, as well as being useful in aerodynamics .
Inside there is no steering wheel but a multinational control located at the center of the vehicle that is linked to a large curved screen. This control recognizes the driver once he passes his hand over and scans the heartbeat and his breathing.
Sony Vision-S
Sony surprised everyone during CES 2020 with the presentation of its car called Vision-S , an electric car concept that is intended to show the different strengths of the Japanese technology conglomerate, from entertainment products to camera sensors and more.
“This prototype represents our contribution to the future of mobility,” said Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida.
The Vision-S features 33 different sensors inside and outside the car , multiple panoramic screens, 360 audio and always active connectivity, with some parts coming from industry players such as BlackBerry and Bosch.
With respect to the appearance of the car it has a great resemblance to the Porsche design, especially around the headlights, and in the side profile it looks a bit like the Lucid Motors Air. Inside it is equipped with a screen that extends over the dashboard, in addition to including screens for rear-seat passengers in the head restraints.
Hyundai S-A1
The concept of Hyundai flying car was one of the great novelties for CES 2020.
The objective is to use airspace to relieve traffic and return quality time to travelers from large cities. Passengers will use an application to use the flying car and reach a destination within the city.
The model they developed together is called S-A1 and uses innovative design processes to optimize electric take-off and vertical landing ( eVTOL ) airplanes used in shared air travel .
THE FEATURES OFFERED BY THIS FLYING CAR CALLED S-A1 ARE THE FOLLOWING:
- It is designed to reach a cruising speed of up to 290 kmph, a cruising altitude of between 300 to 600 meters above ground level and a flight capacity of 100 km away.
The vehicle will be 100% electric.
The vehicle will initially be driven by a person, but over time it will be autonomous.
The vehicle is designed to take off vertically and will be driven by multiple rotors and propellers around the fuselage, to increase safety by decreasing any possible failure.
Toyota LQ Concept
The vehicle cleaner Toyota presented at the CES 2020 . This electric vehicle manages to purify the air while driving on the street. It has Level 4 SAE2 system and thanks to its autonomy this vehicle manages to travel 300 km and its design is one of the most futuristic that we could find in the convention.
