has been extended with a new and long-awaited version. The smallest 100% electric SUV that we can find in the incipient family of Mercedes EQ models can already boast of having more than 500 kilometers of autonomy. The new Mercedes EQA 250+ finally lands in the Spanish market and does so to give a strong boost to the sales of this SUV.

The autonomy of the new Mercedes EQA 250+
Beyond the equipment, which is a determining factor in a vehicle of this category and segment, as it is an electric car, the propulsion system is the focus of attention. The new EQA 250+ differs from the access version by having a larger capacity battery. The “heart” of this model is a lithium-ion battery of 70.5 kWh whose main objective is none other than to feed a motor of 140 kW (190 hp) and 385 Nm of maximum torque.

The power is sent to the front axle, so it is a front-wheel drive version. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 160 km/h (electronically limited). And here comes the most important thing, autonomy stands at 530 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. It declares an average consumption of 15.3 kWh at 100 km.
