Days ago, it was officially revealed that Daredevil would be one of the expected cameos in the series. She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk of Disney+, and also appeared with a new suit. The man without fear, now fully part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, looks like it will look different. One that separates him from the one he had during the three seasons of the series that was originally on Netflix.
In the brief advances that showed the promotion of She-Hulk: Lawyer She-HulkDaredevil wears a suit in shades of yellow and a matching mask. An outfit very different from the red and tight, with a band tied to the eyes with which he became iconic. However, the change is not a whim of the producers, nor is it a purely aesthetic decision. The mystery figure from Hell’s Kitchen pays homage, with its appearance, to its classic appearance straight out of the Marvel comics. This is a decision that sustains Daredevil’s journey through his story.
From the cartoon version starring Ben Affleck to the crudest aspect of Charlie Cox. Daredevil evolved according to the time and the way he started to become relevant in the world of Marvel. So much so that we are wondering about the meaning of the yellow suit that he will wear in She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk. Matt Murdock is quite a symbol. And one who wears a recognizable suit for a good part of his fans.
A suit for every moment of an enigmatic creature called Daredevil
The first time Daredevil wore the yellow and red costume was in his debut, Daredevil #1 from 1964. The comic explored his past and how the character understands his abilities. The big question is whether his arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe means something similar with his new outfit. Is this a reinvention? If so, the appearance of the man without fear would have a specific meaning. Mark a before and after in your passage between platforms.
But the question remains as to what place the upcoming Daredevil series occupies in Marvel’s timeline. Could some events of the previous plot be included in the current one? The suit could be indicative of how the transition of the hero to the franchise is assumed.
To enter context, there is the possibility that the clothing referred to the last season of the series on Netflix. In it, the script introduces Benjamin Poindexer / Bullseye, who tries to tarnish Murdock’s good name by creating anxiety under his figure. In the end, Daredevil changes costume or at least, that is implied. Could it be, in any case, that the new costume obeys the intention of obtaining a completely recognizable personality and away from that plot?
However, it must be remembered that She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk it’s a comedy, so the Daredevil suit could be both an homage and a joke. However, it is unlikely that Marvel will change the dark and violent tone that emerges from the original series on Netflix, for a radically different one, much less, in a brief cameo.
Remember, Marvel plans a solo series of the character with 18 chapters, so it would be a very high risk. And specifically, after the effort that the studio is making to reintegrate it into the Cinematic Universe.

A long way to go for Daredevil
Daredevil begins what seems like a long journey through not only several productions, but also his history within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The studio seems to be following his idea of bringing back the original look of his most popular characters. The hero of Hell’s Kitchen is no exception, and a return to his more traditional attire is a way of remembering his origins and his importance.
Between both things, there is a celebration of the well-known symbol of optimism within the house of ideas. But nuanced by a singular premise. Daredevil, coming back in all of his weird ambiguity, seems like Marvel’s latest move into a more adult and unique world. A journey that is perhaps unavoidable.
