THE DOCTOR. PERSHING IN PREVIOUS SEASONS OF “THE MANDALORIAN”
For those people who don’t remember what Dr. Pershing did in previous seasons of “The Mandalorian”, basically, it was the beginning of the whole journey between Din Djarin and Grogu.
Due to their experiments, they needed Grogu as a specimen to extract his blood and DNA, so hired, together with “The Client”, Mando to recover it. In return, they would pay him in Beskar.
While “The Client” was willing to sacrifice Grogu, Dr. Pershing fought to keep him alivewhich is why Din Djarin decided to forgive him the moment he returned for the force-using child.
However, Pershing continued with his experiments using the blood he had drawn from Grogu, but these had no positive results. Therefore, to continue, he needed to have the donor again, which started the search for the little one by Moff Gideon.
In Season 2, it was Dr. Pershing who gave Din Djarin and Cara Dune valuable information to rescue Grogu from Moff Gideon’s ship and alerted them to the presence of the Dark Troopers.
