The only Mac that Apple maintains with an Intel chip could soon be updated with an Apple Silicon processor. According to Gurman, the Mac Pro that Apple is currently testing has its own chip that includes a 24 core CPU, divided into 16 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores. It also has a 76-core GPU and 192 GB memory. This is a much more powerful configuration than the M1 Ultra chip in Mac Studio, which has a maximum of 20 CPU cores and 64 graphics performance cores.
The Mac Pro the company is working on, on the other hand, runs macOS Ventura 13.3. Its launch, however, not planned until 2023.
