For several days, Gerard Piqué, Ibai Lanos, TheGrefg and others streamers they were uploading images to their networks with interesting messages.
Finally, the mystery was revealed this Thursday night, when the popular Ibai Twitch channel officially presented the King’s Leaguea football competition made up of 12 teams that will be chaired by 12 of the largest streamers Spanish-speakers on the planet, including Ibai himself, former Argentine player Kun Agüero and TheGrefg.
The league, chaired by Gerard Piqué, will be “real” seven-player football matches.
The competition will begin in January 2023 and, it was said, the matches will be dynamic, with extensive audiovisual coverage and rules that will “help the show.”
The games will be broadcast on their channels streamers who will participate and on the official Kings League Twitch channel.
As reported, the King League will have 11 dates that will be played on Sundays. The six games will be consecutive, one after the other, of short duration where the show will always be prioritized.
After the regular phase, the best eight located in the table will dispute the cup in format play off.
The players will be former soccer players and anyone who signs up on the web and is selected by one of the presidents of the 12 teams. Registration is open on the website KingsLeague.pro,
Once the 120 players have been selected, who will pass physical and skill tests, a draft will be held like the NBA does.
“We are going to revolutionize football as it is known,” Piqué said in an interview that was part of the presentation. “Change football” is the tagline.

The tournament will be organized by Kosmos, the company owned by Piqué, who left professional football last week.
The idea of the competition is to focus on the show, with well-known commentators and commentators, cameras and microphones that will show the changing rooms, the signings with live shows and the players’ conversations with their coaches.
