The DualSense Edge professional controller will hit the market in 2023.
It was at the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2022 last summer when Sony announced the improved DualSense Edge controller for PS5. It is a professional control with interchangeable elements and new functions, such as configurable levers on the back of the control, now showing in a new trailer that has revealed its release date and price.
The first ultra-customizable controller developed by PlayStation will be available from January 26, 2023 around the world to deliver performance and customization that will deliver controls tailored to each user’s style of play. Its price has been set at €239.99with interchangeable joystick modules that will be sold separately for € 24.99.
The DualSense Edge wireless controller will offer a number of customization options for both hardware and software. In this way, the player will be able to remap buttons, adjust the sensitivity of the joystick and triggers, switch between various control profiles or use a single user interface. To all this is added the well-known characteristics of the DualSense, highlighting its immersive functions, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
What’s in the DualSense Edge box
The DualSense Edge wireless controller will arrive in a carrying case that will allow the controller to be charged via USB without removing it from the case. Inside will also be three sets of replaceable joystick caps and two pairs of interchangeable back buttons. In a broken down way, this is everything that will include the box of the DualSense Edge:
