According to psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa, the more IQ a woman has, the less her desire to have children.
This is stated in his book ‘The Intelligence Paradox’, which states that for every 15 IQ points, the desire to become a mother is reduced by 25%.
The present involves more factors that influence the decision of men and women to become parents: the level of income, housing and even care for the environment in the place where they live.
In the National Child Development Study, Kanazawa took all these factors into account and concluded that even controlling for variables such as the economy and education, if the woman is more intelligent, the less likely she is to want to be a mother.
