Google’s storage service, Google One, includes some added benefits beyond increasing the space you have to store your photos, emails, and more. One of them is the VPN service, which is now available in Spain and a few other countries.
Google announced its Google One VPN last year, although it was first launched only in the United States. Now also comes to Spain, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Italy. Eight countries in total.
Included in 2 TB plans
Google has created its VPN as a security reinforcement for connections on Android mobiles that, later, can also be used on iOS, Windows and Mac. Google presents it as a high-speed VPN that takes advantage of its servers around the world to protect your privacy and encrypt all your dataregardless of the application or website.
Google’s VPN hide your IP address, although it does not serve to change the location as is common in other similar services. A strong point is that its configuration is literally pressing a button in the official Google One application.
Google’s VPN connection was launched last year in the United States, now beginning its global availability with its landing in eight more countries. It is an added advantage of 2 TB plan, at a cost of 9.99 euros per month or 99.99 euros per year.
In fact, this is the only way to connect to the Google VPN, as it is not sold separately. To connect to the VPN it is necessary to install the Google One application on Android, and the service is exclusively for Android at the moment. Google ensures that later support will be added to connect from Windows, Mac and an iPhone or iPad. You can hire the plan and start using the VPN directly from the application.
