These are the first official previews of the new electric pick-up that the Chinese brand is preparing. The Geely Radar is the first development of the Asian giant with this type of body that it intends to launch on the market at the end of the year. For now, only in China, although it opens the doors to a new segment in the market.
Electric vans are starting to hit the European market with force, but not so much electric pick-ups that remain further from the Old Continent and closer to the United States, although in the future they will be a more obligatory alternative in the commercial market. Is named GeelyRadar. A new generation pick-up that bears the seal of the Chinese brand, and which has been seen both in some sketches and in some cutouts of the most outstanding details, as well as a couple of views of one of the duly camouflaged prototypes . Of course, with a very attractive and, at the same time, sporty design, highlighting the front with slim headlamps featuring an LED light signature that merges with an illuminated slat that crosses the grid crosswise.
Geely Radar, a sustainable bet for outdoor lovers
The future Geely Radar also has taillights that extend along the rear, occupying part of the uprights and the cargo box lid, by the way, very short, with a grooved floor that prevents the displacement of loaded objects and with a power outlet on one of the sides. Geely has developed this new model with a double cabin bodywork, so it points more towards a recreational side than a professional one.
For now, the Asians have limited themselves to showing the exterior, without giving a glimpse of the interior that promises to be more avant-garde, something that will be anticipated as its presentation scheduled for the end of the year approaches. What is clear is that you will have four comfortable seats and that Geely will make a real display of the most advanced connectivity and digitization technology.
