The Game Awards 2022 ceremony is tonight! This Thursday, December 8, we will know the verdict of the gamers who voted in each of the video game Oscars categories, a ceremony in which God of War: Ragnarök and Elden Ring look like the big favorites.

The Game Awards will have in this edition Daniel Craigrecognized for playing James Bond, the filmmaker rian johnson (Knives Out, Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Peter Pascal (The Last of Us, The Mandalorian), Ken & Roberta Williamsindustry icons, and the former president of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé.
Shows and revelations
It is expected that during the ceremony new video game announcements and world premieresas well as musical performances including the return of The Game Awards Orchestra, conducted by Lorne Balfe.
GOTY nominees
Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarök are the big favorites to take the Game of the Year (GOTY, for its acronym in English).
To the title of FromSoftware and Sony – Santa Monica accompany them in the queen category A Plague Tale: Requiem, Horizon Forbidden West, Stray, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Stray.
The recently released God of War: Ragnarök tops the nomination list with 10. Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West follow with seven, while Stray has six.
