The Dacia Duster 2024 will have electrified engines
The Czechs from «rnews» have revealed that the new Duster will not have diesel enginesfocusing its offensive on a single hybrid gasoline engine equipped with 48 Volts, which will have a variant fueled by LPG. These two will be the only options to exceed the demanding limits of the new Euro 7 emissions standard. MHEV technology will reduce fuel consumption and emissions from the three-cylinder engine 1.2 CTewhich will have a small turbocharger to reach maximum powers of 120 and 140 hp.
The brand will offer these versions equipped with change six-speed manual and automatic and of course with all wheel drive to all four wheels, a system that will be coupled only to the automatic transmission option, although it is a detail not yet confirmed. The interesting thing about this hunted test mule is that it is a development of the future Duster Hybrid, which equips an HEV system. The same technical scheme that will be released on board the new Dacia Jogger Hybrid.
