Ezra Miller is causing serious headaches for Warner Bros. Although the production company had been confident that the actor would stop getting involved in scandals, Miller has not reciprocated. This week, in fact, the Vermont police asked him to appear in court after his alleged robbery of a private residence. Faced with such behavior, which seems to have no correction, the company has begun to prepare for different situations.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner already has a plan to act based on three possible scenarios, one of them quite complex. In the worst case, the company plans to cancel the premiere of Flasha film that has Ezra Miller as the protagonist.
Next, the three scenarios in which Warner thinks, always according to the information of THR:
- Apparently, Warner was informed that Ezra Miller will seek professional help. The actor’s mother is already with him to support him in the process. If this situation arises, the company intends that Miller offer a public interview to explain his inappropriate behavior in recent years. “The actor could do limited publicity for Flashand the film would be released in theaters as planned,” the source mentions.
- This second scenario contemplates that Ezra Miller finally does not seek the help he needs. If so, the brand new plan Flash will continue, however, the advertising campaign of the feature film will reduce the presence of the actor. This by itself is already complicated because he is the protagonist.
- We come to the worst case scenario. If Ezra Miller continues to mess it up in more controversial situations, Warner will cancel Flash. It’s that “simple”. Although some might think that there is always the option of re-recording with a different actor, being the main character they would practically have to do the filming from scratch.
Seen the act of Ezra Miller in these months, nobody rules out the third scenario. Warner would be throwing 200 million dollars in the garbage, an unprecedented event – taking into account both the reason and the cause – in the history of the company.
A week ago, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, conveyed that the premiere of Flash he was in no danger. However, the manager did not expect that Ezra Miller would be involved in another scandal just a few days later. In addition to the accusation of theft, a report of Business Insider revealed that the actor may have been a cult leader while in Iceland. Several involved revealed his shameful behavior and even he was accused of psychological abuse.
Without a doubt, Ezra Miller has the hours numbered to recompose his personal path, which at this moment is more important than the launch of Flash. Of course, it is undeniable that a hypothetical cancellation would be very sad news for DC fans, while Warner’s coffers would be seriously damaged again. Let’s not forget they recently canceled batgirlburning approximately 90 million dollars.
