BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles unveiled the HAN EV luxury sedan and 100% electric SUV TANG EV at a test drive event in Mexico. The Chinese-based company is expected to expand its local presence in the country and introduce its top-of-the-line New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) to the Mexican market in 2023.

During the event, invited media had the opportunity to test drive the vehicles on a professional race track, experiencing two electric models equipped with BYD’s most advanced technologies, which have already gained worldwide recognition.
BYD’s flagship sedan, HAN EV comes equipped with the revolutionary Blade battery, offering outstanding performance in terms of safety and range. With an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h of only 3.9 seconds, the participants were able to enjoy an incredible driving experience of the electric vehicles.
With HiFi-class customized Dynaudio audio smart music booth, HAN EV provides users with a luxury experience. The interior is outfitted with solid wood paneling, high-quality Nappa leather seats, aluminum trim, and an impressive 15.6-inch swivel touchscreen that lets you enjoy the ride with a single click.
For its part, the BYD TANG SUV represents a new era of design for BYD. BYD’s international design team, led by renowned designer Wolfgang Egger, has combined luxurious textures with materials to create a dynamic-looking and powerful SUV. The seven-seat electric SUV offers an unprecedented 1,655 liters of cargo space behind the front row seatswhile the 60/40 split-folding rear seats increase flexibility so users bring everything they need on the road.
