Square Enix it just doesn’t stop. During the State of Play last March it was revealed The DioField Chronicle, a real-time strategy RPG. After several months without information on this title, a presentation was recently held where the release date of this game and various additional details have been confirmed.
The DioField Chronicle will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 22, 2022. The game will arrive in physical and digital formats at a price of ¥7,678 yen. Similarly, a digital deluxe edition will be priced at ¥10,978 yen. Lastly, those with deep pockets will be able to purchase the collector’s edition, which is exclusive to Square Enix’s online store in Japan, for ¥16,478 yen, and will include a board game and a set of pins.

Along with this, it was revealed that next August 10th a demo for the game will be available, where everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy the first chapter of the title. Once September 22 rolls around, you’ll have the opportunity to carry over all of your progress into the final version of the installment.
However, all this information, as well as a gameplay, was shared during a special presentation in Japan, and at the moment there is no information about the west, and it is unknown if we can enjoy The DioField Chronicle in our region on the same day as in the Land of the Rising Sun, although this is very likely to be the case.
