The output of No Man’s Sky was not the best in the world. Hello Games’ title was released 6 years ago, and in addition to lacking many of the gameplay features that were promised in the lead-up to its release, the technical aspect of the title was average to say the least. However, in this time the studio headed by Sean Murray has gotten its act together and has been launching, at an uninterrupted rate, a truly massive amount of totally free updates that have reached, and far exceeded, the initial proposal of the title.
After having redeemed himself with all the players and having consecrated himself as a study to take into account, the creators of No Mans Sky share information about their new project, which they claim will be incredibly ambitious. Is it No Man’s Sky 2? Sean Murray has given the answer to IGN.
The creators of No Man’s Sky reveal that they are working on a new IP
“We’ve been working on something pretty ambitious in the background for a while now,” explains Murray, “It’s a small team, but we like it that way. Like No Man’s Sky, it’s the kind of project that, even if we had a thousand people working on it, it would still seem impossible«.
The creative has also stated that it will not be a sequel to his intergalactic travel title, although it will be just as ambitious. This new project is in the early stages of its development, so it will take a while to see it in motion.
No Man’s Sky has just received its new free expansion, under the name of Outlaws, focused on allowing players to be criminals in space.
