The Repsol Guide has updated its list of “Soletes” incorporating 300 novelties under the same common spirit: lose ourselves this spring touring, and devouring, the entire Spanish territory. Already with the Easter just around the corner, and before the summer heat, the guide proposes getaways and routes looking a little at that back to townto small inland and coastal enclaves where you can enjoy gastronomy in the best natural settings.
Grouped under the heading of “soletes to get lost“, the new entries have been selected by the Repsol Guide team of experts proposing to discover -or rediscover- supposedly minor localities and more unknownbut whose size does not prevent them from offering culinary delights to visitors looking to disconnect and relax this spring.
Kitchens, bars, ovens and food houses
The Soletes collection was launched in 2021 with the idea of offering an alternative guide to the great gastronomic signature restaurants and haute cuisine, the hospitality businesses that are the ones that really define culinary and social culture of our country, more or less humble, but where you can have the confidence that they will treat you well and you will leave very satisfied.
Bars, eateries, cafeterias, ovens, tahonas, beach bars, inns, sales, more or less humble restaurants, ice cream parlors… spaces that would you recommend to your friendsfrequented by the parishioners of each place and that are not so tourist-oriented, maintaining that authentic character and love for the things well donewithout further pretensions.
So now add up 300 new soles Distributed by small towns throughout the country that are ideal to discover at Easter or any spring getaway, perhaps already planning the summer.
In the words of Mary Ritterdirector of Guía Repsol, “Los Soletes are those places that we dream of finding when we embark on a trip, either to spend the day or to explore a region. They reflect the implantation that cuisine has in Spain, because they reach any corner, and the desire to enjoy that we all have”.
The complete list can be consulted on the official website, as well as search recommendations based on our destination or specific needs.
