Bentley adds a new version to the range of the two-door sports car and the luxurious convertible. The new Bentley Continental GT S, and GTC S, offer an extra level of sportiness thanks to special details on the exterior and a truly unique interior atmosphere with the features of the V8 version, whose specifications have not been improved.
The range of Bentley Continental GTand the convertible variant of the GTC, add one more option to the range that will put customers in the position of which version they should decide on. The British firm has expanded the portfolio with an even more special version that complements the V8, W12, Speed and the prestigious exclusive creations from the workshops of the Mulliner customization specialist.
The new ones Bentley Continental GT SY GTC Sexude elegance and sportiness in equal parts, with a design that, in essence, does not change but has been reinforced with specific details painted in glossy black, with an appearance that recalls the “Black Line” finish and to the very “Speed”, although this does not also translate into performance. On the outside, these Continental GTs are recognizable by the black painted radiator grille, as well as the rims of the headlights, the honeycomb mesh of the bumper air intakes, the insert that extends into the lower from the sides or alloy wheels to choose between 21 and 22 inches, the latter optional.
Bentley Continental GT S, sporty on the outside and luxurious on the inside
Even the piece that houses the four exhausts, and their trims, are bathed in “Piano Black”, the pbrake calipers the only jarring component with its red finish. The two models have been presented in an attractive pastel grey, although the British brand really offers the full color palette available in the two sports cars for this new version.
If from the outside it may seem more discreet, it is the interior that truly draws attention, with a unique atmosphere in the two body options with more luxurious decoration. Proof of this are the seats upholstered in a combination of red and black leather, with contrasting stitching in the first color and also extending through the transmission tunnel, dashboard and door panels. The front sports seats have the letter “S” embroidered on the headrests, although can be replaced by the brand’s winged emblem. The door sills feature aluminum slats marked with the ‘S’ and illuminated.
Where there is no news is in the mechanical plane. This new version is offered with the powerful engine 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing a maximum power of 550 hp and 770 Nm of torque, a block with which both models accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. Heart-stopping performance that is enhanced by the “Dynamic Ride” active stabilizer bar system which, fitted with 48-volt motors, are capable of becoming an active anti-roll system balancing the movements of the bodywork when cornering. One more jewel that is added to the exclusive catalog of the firm.
