While Peacemaker made the character canon, DC got ahead of James Gunn and released this poster for The Bat-Mite movie.
For many he is a difficult character, for others he is unforgettable, the truth is that if you doubt the importance of Bat-Mite (the Bat-goblin), this The Batman-style poster will hit you in the face. This is The Bat Mite.
James Gunn already established the existence of Bat-Mite as DCEU canon, now DC jokes and announces a non-existent movie about this inhabitant of the Fifth Dimension.
In the Tweet we can read: “No one has asked for this. Literally no one. #BatMite.”

However, among the many responses from official accounts that the publication received, one of these was from filmmaker James Gunn, who wrote: “I did it.”

Bat-Mite was created by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff and debuted in 1959’s Detective Comics #267. After his stint in 1960s comics, he became popular in the following decade for his presence in The New Adventures animation. of Batman from 1977. We later saw him in Batman: The Brave and the Bold from 2008.
