There are now very few audio brands that do not have their particular bet to conquer the market of the so-called TWS, very compact wireless headphones that take different forms. Technics bets on the earbud format with its new Technics EAH AZ60 and Technics EAH AZ40, its two new models, one of them with active noise cancellation.
Although they have now been introduced, the new TWS headphone models from Technics they will not step on the market until next October. It will be then when the top model, the AZ60, arrives in black and silver at a price of 229.99 euros while the AZ40, in silver, black and rose gold, will go on sale for 149.99 euros.
With and without noise cancellation, 7 hours of autonomy
Although the design of both models can confuse us, the truth is that they differ more than it seems. The AZ60, for example, features active noise cancellation and are LDAC compliant, the audio codec that can transmit audio up to 990kbps. It has eight microphones in total, four per earpiece, and offers a range of about 7 hours with active noise cancellation.
If we add the charges included in the transport case, The AZ60 can reach up to 24 hours away from the plug. In addition to this, they have water resistance with IPX4, which means that they resist splashes of water and are suitable for sports, and offer up to 7 different sizes for their silicone pads. We also have voice recognition and they can reduce air vibrations to facilitate outdoor conversations.
As for the AZ40, here we do not find active noise cancellation but in return increases the autonomy, taking us to the 7.5 hours separated from the transport box and up to 25 hours away from the plug adding the charges of the box. These AZ40s include four size ear pads and also features Air Vibration Reduction for calls. The AZ40s also respond to voice commands for control.
The two models will arrive, as we said at the beginning, in the month of October. The AZ60 will cost 229.99 euros while the AZ40 will have a price of 149.99 euros. At the moment it has not been revealed in which stores they can be purchased, neither physical nor online, so we are waiting for them to finally reach the market.
