In architecture or interior designThere is a big distinction between container – the original and structural elements of the house – and content, referring to the furniture. If both go hand in hand, the result is a balanced environment that always works well.
The reform or rather, the transformation, of this kitchen not only surprising for the color choice but because it is a good example of design adapted to the continent of a house, which manages to restore its splendor.
The kitchen to reform It was located under the forging of the old house. An underground space that stands out for the marked inclination of the roof and an ancient oval window that told stories from the past, although until now it went unnoticed.
However, in the renovation carried out by the interior designer @jeanstofferdesignthis “architectural jewel” has been enhanced, redefining its role as the soul of the house.
The kitchen Before
The before and after of this undercover kitchen is a testament to how much it is worth improving the kitchen, the heart of the house.
The vision of the interior designer managed to restore the splendor of the entire plant, honoring the architecture of the house and taking it to a new level of “country elegance”.
Before, the kitchen had a marked rustic style, with paneled furniture that simulated wood with moldings, but the passage of time had made it look outdated.
The kitchen After
Inspired by the workmanship of the house, it stands out the new wooden beam that crosses the highest point of the floor, reinforcing the aesthetics of the country house. The walls of the space, now the kitchen/dining room, have also been covered with white laminate, highlighting the light and spaciousness of the space.
But if something surprises and takes everything away, the protagonist is the kitchen in a vibrant green color. The interior designer chose green, not only for the furniture, but also for the shiny tiles on the backsplash. This choice has given the kitchen a unique personality that – deservedly – attracts everyone’s attention.
