The Tax Administration Service (SAT) launched a massive call to find Mexican men and women who are willing to work in their facilities as security guards.
The search targets people over 18 who have “excellent physical and mental health,” says the text of the call.
Other requirements is that they have, at least, a bachelor’s degree or a commercial degree.
The place of work for those selected will be in the CDMX and the Metropolitan Zone, in the General Administration of Resources and Services of the SAT.
The task, the call states, will be “to protect public servants, facilities and property in buildings.”
What type of employee is the SAT looking for?
Among the details to be carried out is access control, review of the normal operation of surveillance cameras and metal detectors and carrying out action protocols in emergency situations.
It is a “multifunctional and strategic” position that aims to “provide security, executing preventive and corrective actions with strict adherence to the guidelines in terms of institutional control and security,” the text adds.
Those who intend to work at SAT must send an email with their resume before January 31, 2022.
Those who pass the first step of the selection must join the institution’s so-called “training program” for a month.
During that time, they will live in a place arranged by the SAT where they will be provided with accommodation and food.
There they will be trained with the idea of obtaining the necessary knowledge to be able to perform the position: from handling firearms, to notions of self-defense and physical conditioning classes.
Those who obtain more than 85 points out of 100 in this training, may be part of the SAT.
“To satisfactorily accredit the training program, a minimum passing grade of 85 on a scale of 0 to 100 is required, failure to accredit it will be cause for automatic withdrawal, without the possibility of re-entry,” says the announcement.
There is no precise detail of the salary that those who start working at the SAT will receive.
