The Swedish driver, champion of the DTM and World Rallycross, will try to achieve victory with Johan Kristoffersson in the Nations Cup, while he will seek individual victory – it would be the fourth after 2006, 2007 and 2009 – to become the first Extreme E driver to win the Race of Champions. Ekström thus joins a list of enrollees in which they are the aforementioned Kristoffersson, Petter Solberg and their son Oliver, Tom Kristensen and Travis Pastrana.
