In order to strengthen its positioning strategy in Mexico, within the framework of its 100th anniversary, Terumo Japanese company leader in innovation and development of medical devices announced that, as of September of this year, it collaborates with the strategic communication firm LLYC, as your ally in matters of corporate positioning and public relations.

Terumo was founded in Japan in 1921 by various scientists and physicians, including Dr. Shibasaburo Kitasato, to produce clinical thermometers to deal with a shortage of imported products as a result of World War 1. Currently, the company has been in existence for a century and has a presence in 160 countries, more than 26,000 associates, 16 research and development centers located in 8 countries, within Asia, Europe and America, and more than 5,600 patents.
Terumo arrived in Mexico more than 25 years ago and has been dedicated to the commercialization of medical devices for the care of Mexican patients in public and private hospitals; is a benchmark in the sector in the interventionism and cardiovascular surgery markets. For 10 years, the company has been actively collaborating in the education and training of health professionals, through public-private alliances with the Ministry of Health and the Japanese Government Agency.
