The great absentee is Dylan O’Brien, who brought Stiles to life and became a crowd favorite. In interview for Varietythe actor talked about why he decided not to be a part of Teen Wolf: The Movie.
“It was a difficult decision. Many things happened. The series could not be more dear to me. It was the first thing I did and there are many people in it that I love. Ultimately, I decided that they left the series in a really good place for me and I still want to leave it there. I wish them the best and I’ll see the movie the first night it comes out, I hope it kicks ass but I’m not going to be in it.”
What can we expect from the movie?
Based on a series loved by many, fan expectations are sky high. It’s not just about the return of teen wolf, but from the first film in this franchise. With a bigger budget, the story can take risky decisions and take the danger to another level. Tyler Posey, protagonist of the film, promises that the creative part will not disappoint the fans, and that this story will feel like a correct extension of the series (via ComingSoon).
“It’s perfect, you know? It wouldn’t have been right if no one was here. Russell (Mulcahy, the director) really set the tone for the show a long time ago, so I couldn’t imagine the movie without him or Jeff (Davis, the writer). It wouldn’t have happened. Likewise, I can’t imagine the show without me in it. We are all integral parts of the series and the project itself. We felt like we needed everyone back on board to get this done.”.
When it premieres Teen Wolf: The Movie?
