Call of Duty: Vanguard It has been officially confirmed, and it seems that we are going back to WWII. Activision has released a trailer today, finally revealing what has been one of the worst kept secrets of this year.
Not that a new Call of duty surprise no one, but before today’s announcement, there were only rumors and leaks that pointed to the setting of the game and such. Many of those reports have been confirmed with today’s teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard.
Drop into #Warzone this Thursday to experience the worldwide reveal of Vanguard.
We know not everyone is free in the middle of a Thursday, so reply with #Vanguard and we’ll send you an airtight excuse for whatever you had planned. pic.twitter.com/p6ER5Fy8Y4

The teaser, which is almost two minutes long, takes us through different battlefields devastated by war in Europe. The faces of different characters are hidden in these scenes, which seems to suggest that the campaign will follow multiple protagonists. We still don’t know who these characters are, but the wait won’t last long.
The world premiere of Call of Duty: Vanguard It will take place on August 19 at 19:30 CEST (Spanish time). Will take place within the game Battle royale gratuitous Call of Duty: Warzone. Activision did not provide many details, it simply stated: Join the Battle of Verdansk and experience the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty: Vanguard in Warzone. In short, you will have to have the game downloaded to be able to attend the event in first person.
It is possible that in Warzone some kind of scheduled event unfolds in the game that introduces the WWII setting of the next game. Hopefully, we will also be able to see some footage. Previous leaks suggest there will be an open beta for Call of Duty: Vanguard in September, followed by the game’s release, which will likely be in November.
