When an industry already has decades of pairing, the value of nostalgia multiplies. For that reason, in recent years we have witnessed how remakes, reboots, remasters and even ports have multiplied. Take-Two, one of the current giants in the video game industry, has many of the most iconic video games of the last decades. For this reason, the company has confirmed that they are on the way three old titles that will return as a remaster or remake.
This information appears in this dossier shared by the company. In it, together with various economic projections that Take-Two estimates for the first quarter of its fiscal year 2022, it appears subtly the presence of three existing titles that are preparing to be published again.
This announcement makes clear the current path of Take-Two, that in terms of large deliveries we appreciate three parallel routes. The first one, the conscientious work on new titles, taking into account that the team works hard on the hypothetical GTA VI. The second of them, the online service, taking into account that the online GTA V or Red Dead Redemption II always have high traffic and constant updates. The third of them, a path that is already beginning to be seen clearly, working on remakes and remasters of several of his video games that marked an era in the past, as we could see with the Mafia saga recently.
Unfortunately, it is completely unknown what video games it could be. Many fans would opt for one classic trilogy of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas, or for a Rockstar trilogy seventh generation with titles like LA Noire, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption. However, we will have to wait to find out what plans Take-Two is handling when it comes to relaunching three of its successful video games.
