The cosplayer community has great affection for many of the anime and manga series of the moment, such is the case that artists and models from all over the world have made amazing characterizations of The Rising of the Shield Hero anime waiting for the season two.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that the new season of The Rising of the Shield Hero will start airing next week, on April 6 to be exact. To pass the wait that separates the return of the Hero of the Shield and his companions, a beautiful cosplayer has decided to make a characterization inspired by the female character of Raphtalia.
Model Sydnee Kate, also known as xsydkate on her official Instagram account, has seen fit to create a Raphtalia cosplay a little different than usual. Raphtalia is a demi-human and the tireless companion of the protagonist, Naofumi Iwatani, although to be fair, she is initially forced to obey him against her will due to a magical enslavement seal.
Over the course of the anime, she will become a skilled swordswoman who can also use illusionary magic, becoming a prized ally of the Shield Hero. xsydkate decided to bring Raphtalia to life with an original cosplay a little different than usual, opting for a casual dress instead of Raphtalia’s classic swordsman uniform.
Despite this, the character is immediately recognizable thanks to the perfectly executed raccoon/tanuki elements, hairstyle, and chest tattoo faithful to the original version, which many anime fans fell in love with at first sight.
