Electronic Arts has just released the first official trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the next chapter in the Cal Kestis story developed by Respawn Entertainment. The sequel to the critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC in 2023just as the rumors claimed.
The announcement of the sequel was made during the Star Wars Celebration, where it was said that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set five years after Fallen Order. The game is developed by Respawn Entertainment under the leadership of director Stig Amussen and seeks to offer a deeper and more expansive experience, so it will only come to next-generation consoles.
Even before Jedi: Fallen Order was completed, our team had a vision for how to bring Cal, BD and the crew’s adventure into the sequel,” said Sig Amussen. “For Jedi: Survivor, we are working together with Lucasfilm Games to build on the legacy of Jedi: Fallen Order. According to the game director, we will have to wait until the end of 2022 to have more news about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The plot of the game will show us a Cal in constant pursuit of the Empire, who also begins to feel the weight of being one of the last Jedi in the galaxy.
