There are very few days until the Surface event where the new batch of Microsoft equipment will be presented that will accompany the launch of Windows 11. While some are an open secret like the Surface Go 3 or the Surface Pro 8, others like the Surface Book 4 they are shrouded in an aura of mystery.
A revolutionary device
According to recent information published by Zac Bowden for Windows Central, the new Surface Book 4 to which the leaks refer could be called Surface Laptop Pro or Surface Laptop Studio.
The great novelty of this device is its revolutionary form factor. The Surface Book 4 will be a device 2-in-1 with a ‘non-detachable’ design similar to the HP Elite Folio. In this way, the screen can be laid flat on the keyboard for drawing and note taking. Apparently it would look like a very thin Surface Pro attached to the keyboard dock of the Surface Laptop.
In this way, a non-removable design would allow inserting a more powerful hardware, so we would not be surprised to see a leap towards processors with much higher power than usual in the Surface Book (low consumption U range).
From what has been said, it appears that the Surface Book 4 will feature RTX graphics, a larger trackpad and a screen size of around 14 inches with a high refresh rate that will adjust automatically thanks to Windows 11.

Despite the lack of information on the price, we believe that the new form factor that will be accompanied by more powerful hardware will result in a high price. We would not be surprised to have to start from a minimum of 1500-1700 € with this device.
We also have no information on how much the front of the screen will be used, whether or not it will have Thunderbolt 4 or if there will be an option to have an OLED panel. There is very little left for us to have all this information.
