Over time, it has been possible to see how video games are gaining more weight in society, thus giving rise to the fact that it is less and less rare to see that these appear in other large media. In fact, it is not uncommon to see in series and movies how some character is playing with a console, be it Xbox, PlayStation or even Nintendo Switch. However, there are times when these appearances go beyond being in the background, even appearing on screen and being mentioned.
The latter has been the case Super Smash Brosthe famous Nintendo fighting title that today has more than 80 characters available in its squad and that, at the same time, has become the biggest crossover in the video game industrysince in its roster we can find characters from other companies such as Solid Snake, Sonic the Hedgehog, Simon Belmont, Mega Man, among many others.
Miss Marvel makes a clear allusion to Super Smash Bros.
In this way and under this premise, recently Disney Plus has released the series of Miss Marvel, whose first chapter was broadcast last Wednesday and was a success in its reception. However, the point that concerns us is that there is a moment in the chapter (which we are not going to talk about to avoid spoilers) in which one of the characters talks about Super Smash Bros.:

As you can see, and being teenagers, it can be seen as Nakia’s character asks if he is being invited to play Super Smash Bros.being quite obvious that they refer to Nintendo Switch Ultimate, but without specifying it.
In this way, it is at least curious that Marvel and Disney make a reference to the fighting title, since, in the business field, Nintendo does not have much relationship with these companies. However, with almost 30 million copies sold, there is no denying that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is already a public and media institution in all media.
