Our grandmothers said it and they were right: there’s nothing like Suavina for lips. The best beauty tricks are those that are proven.
Created in 1880 by a Levantine pharmacist, Suavina’s balsam magisterial formula quickly became popular. It was intended to alleviate the extreme dryness of the lips and nose of fruit pickers, but its reception was such that the residents of all the nearby towns came to buy it and began to call it “Ungüent de Vila-real”.
After 140 years, has become a mantra beauty. It is one of the tricks that have been passed down generation after generation due to its effectiveness and exquisite aroma. And its sales have moved to what is now one of our top shopping locations: Amazon. So you can check it in the comments. And is that Suavina is one of those beauty products that will never leave our toiletry bag.
Today, contains the original formula from 1880 by Dermo-Suavina, composed of a fat base and a perfume made with essential oils of Mediterranean plants and fruits 100% of natural origin, such as orange, lemon or mandarin, together with menthol. It also maintains the pleasant citrus and minty aroma and its characteristic round pocket container.. Which, although it has evolved over the years, now commemorates the 140th anniversary with a metallic edition inspired by those from the beginning of the 20th century.

Famous uses of Suavina
It helps to repair, hydrate and protect the lips and mucous membranes damaged by excess dryness due to flu processes, colds, rhinitis (and the consequent continued use of handkerchiefs), cold, wind and excess heat or dryness.
In addition, the experience of our grandmothers proved that it is fantastic as a make-up primer, to soothe irritations, wounds or cold sores and to prevent chafing. I have also used it to soften cuticles. Here is the Spanish version of Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hours.
Now it also exists in a version with SPF15, antioxidant and antipollution with olive oil or extra-nutritive with almond oil.
