Something that is well known is that so much TikTok What Instagram, are two widely used social networks, which host millions of people and therefore accumulate many visits. However, it has also been commented that these can affect the mental health of their users, even an in-depth study has helped to identify the problem.
As investigated by the page of bank rate, these two social networks popular among the masses are affecting the happiness and, in turn, the finances of the visitors who produce content or simply watch it. This is directly linked to consuming products promoted within the networks, because sometimes they may regret making the impulsive purchase.
It is said that 64% of people who bought on impulse have regretted spending the money within a few minutes, especially when they see reviews of their products and these have negative points. Coming to the conclusion that they asked for something inferior to other brands, and this affects both the mind and the bank account.
Regarding the age which older is affected, we have generation Z in first place, with 84%, followed by millennials with 77%. In third and fourth place are Generation X and Baby Boomers, with 55% and 38%, respectively. And the first place has all the logic in the world, after all TikTok emerged among the trends not many years ago.
It has been mentioned that social networks want to try to reduce these cases, but apparently they have not done much, so depressive cases could be increasing.
