Capcom already has its roadmap for the launch of Street Fighter 6, the most innovative of the popular title. A leak that occurred in the PlayStation Store indicates the official release date: June 2, 2023.
So prepare your pocket, if you are a fan of the fighting saga that began in the late 80s.
Previously, Capcom had only indicated that it would take place in 2023, without giving further details about the date.
In addition, he advanced some of the video game characters (there will be 18 in total, with classics such as Blanka, Chun-Li, Ryu, Zangief, Cammy, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Guile and Ken, and newer ones like Jamie, Juri, and Luke), along with gameplay features like cross-play and netcode rollback.
But the leak on the PlayStation Store offers much more information. Along with the date it indicates that three versions of Street Fighter 6 will be released: the standard, the deluxe and the ultimate.
The Deluxe includes a Year 1 Character Pass, while the Ultimate comes with a Year 1 Ultimate Pass. However, more is unknown regarding these issues.
Modes and platforms for Street Fighter 6, the latest in the Capcom saga
Street Fighter 6 will feature three extensive modes: Battle Hub, Fighting Ground and World Tour.
Battle Hub is a social experience where players can meet online; Fighting Ground allows users to fight normally, but with an option to comment on the action in real time; and World Tour is the story mode.
The popular Capcom video game will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5, PS4 and Windows PC. As Windows Central explains, marks the return of the franchise to Xbox consoles, after Street Fighter 5 skipped the platform to be exclusive to PlayStation 4.
