Through them, the brain receives the information it needs to explore the world and relate to others.
Stimulating the senses of your treasure is paramount. Your collaboration, often unconsciously, is essential for its development. Touching your child, kissing him, gesturing and talking a lot helps him develop touch, sight and hearing. The games we propose here enhance these three senses. You should not obsess because your little one learns, he has his own signature and you must respect it.
1. Skin to skin: the baby needs to be touched and caressed because it is not enough that you feed him. Your pampering, caresses and loving words help him to know himself and to recognize his parents.
2. Do you hear correctly ?: To know if you are listening correctly, you can clap your hands or ring a bell. At the stimulus, the head will turn. And if it is very small it will startle (closing the eyelids).
3. Children’s songs: it is good to listen to lullabies, popular melodies and, better yet, sing them. If you vocalize along with him since he is a baby, then it will be easier for him to speak with good diction and more quickly.
4. Different textures: Offer objects of various sizes that you can manipulate with your little hands. You have to let them investigate on their own, making sure they don’t put them in their mouths. Baby cloth stories with different textures (velvet, wool, plastic) are an excellent resource.
5. I like my mom !: What attracts her the most is her mother’s face. A human face is the most valuable and complete stimulation for the baby. So you should look at it for a long time, but with different nuances and expressions, such as sweetness or surprise, or grimacing to get their attention.
