StarCraft II is celebrating because this year marks a decade since it premiered back in 2010. That is why Blizzard has prepared a surprise for this game and all of us who have enjoyed it.
Hell, it’s about 10 years
It is incredible to see what time is like, because nobody could believe that 10 years have passed since StarCraft II first saw the light of day, and boy, have a lot of things happened in those 10 years! Especially if we talk about the video game industry.
In 10 years, a lot can really happen, although it seems that one of those things that can happen is not a third installment of StarCraft. Even so, this anniversary patch has so much content that it will make you return to it immediately if you had already left the game.
For starters, we have that this patch will feature new achievements in each of the missions of the main campaign and apart, add new achievements also to the three expansions. This alone already counts as something that will take away whole hours from us again, but it doesn’t stop there.
Another thing that the anniversary patch brings us is an improvement in the campaign builder, making it much easier to do this and waiting for more people to get interested in this creative mode.
As for multiplayer, Blizzard also adds a transition lobby that makes it easier for you to move between two maps, greatly improving the overall experience.
It really seems that since its launch, StarCraft II has been evolving and growing a lot, almost as if it was growing with us. And it really leaves us wondering what we were doing 10 years ago and how we enjoyed the original campaign at launch.
