The name chosen by SsangYong
to baptize his new SUV he refers to the Torres del Paine National Park, in the Patagonia region. A model that stands out for its exterior design, for its technological equipment and for its commitment to electrification at the highest level.
The design of the new SsangYong Torres

The Torres has been developed on the new design language “Powered by Toughness”. It differs, and a lot, from other SUVs of the brand, such as the Korando or the Tivoli. On the front we find a characteristic grille that connects with thin and sharp optical groups in a horizontal arrangement. The headlights draw a characteristic light signature. Also noteworthy is the lower grille and the shape of the bumper. The side view brings out the original essence of the new Torres. The entire underbody is protected by plastic fenders.
Roof bars accentuate the adventurous side and up to 20-inch alloy wheels can be fitted. Finishing our tour of the exterior at the rear, we have vertical rear LED lights and a bumper that integrates a bulky defense.

Up to five adult passengers can travel inside. The trunk has a cargo volume of 703 liters, a figure that can be increased to 1,662 liters if the rear seats are folded down.
The engine and electric version of the new SsangYong Torres
Regarding the mechanical section, under the hood of the new Torres there is a T-GDi petrol engine. A block associated with a six-speed AISIN automatic gearbox. SsangYong has not gone into details about the mechanics, although everything indicates that it is a block of 1.5 liters and four cylinders.
