Nintendo Switch players who are subscribed to nintendo switch online can redeem a new collection of profile icons, which are earned by spending Platinum Points through the NSO app. The new icons that arrived are from Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 2.
Exclusive quests and profile icons came to the Nintendo Switch Online app in early March, back then it debuted with icons from Super Mario Odyssey and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This is the second time Nintendo has added icons of neighbors from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but it might not be the last.

In addition to new profile icons featuring characters from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo released new icons featuring artwork from Splatoon 2, showcasing popular characters like Marina, Judd, and the inklings in different outfits. Player icons will be updated every week.
Another novelty of this update is that players will now receive notifications when they have unredeemed Platinum Points, with the intention that these will not expire in the future. The new Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 2 icons will be available on Nintendo Switch Online until May 1.
