Find out who Peter’s new romantic interest is.
Spider-Man (also known as Peter Parker, by his true identity) is an incredible superhero who, unfortunately, has had to go through many difficult situations in your life, such as deaths of loved ones, separations, love breakups, etc.
Peter throughout his life has had several romantic interestsof which two girls stand out: mary jane watson Y Gwen Stacythe latter unfortunately died at the hands of the Green Goblin, and in volume #10 of Amazing Spider-Man Marvel momentarily resurrected her.
Though Mary Jane became Peter’s wifeleft him because of a terrible mistake that Peter has made (which we still don’t know exactly what it was) and that has turned his life into a great failure.
In a recent volume of the comic Amazing Spider-Man Peter finally manages to get ahead and find someone else after his separation from Mary Jane. Below we will tell you all the details about it, but it is important that you know that this post contains spoilers for volume #11 of the comic Amazing Spider-Man from Marvel.
Peter’s love life
Several years ago, Peter Parker had a brief relationship with Mary Jane “MJ” Watsona girl who was a neighbor of Peter’s aunt May, but they decided to break off their relationship because Peter saw MJ’s “life of the party” personality as too shallow.
During his college years He was dating Gwen Stacyan extremely intelligent girl, Peter’s university classmate, who unfortunately died at the hands of the Green Goblin.
After Gwen’s death, Peter Y MJ they created a great bond; while Peter learned to cope with the pain, Mary Jane was also growing and becoming a more mature person. They approached each other again, fell in love, maintained a relationship for many years and they eventually got married.
In earlier volumes of Amazing Spider-Man it is related that Peter has made a grave mistake that has alienated his closest and dearest people; his aunt May is disappointed, for the superhero community he is a persona non grata, even his wife Mary Jane has abandoned himand a new partner has been sought.
As a result of all this, peter was alonedesperate and having as his only ally the now reformed Green Goblin, Norman Osborn, who offered him a job and a new suit.
In volume #11 of this comic series, apparently Peter already is ready to take a step forward and forget about Mary Jane, and the person he’s interested in is none other than the black cat, Felicia Hardy.
Spider-Man asks the Black Cat out
Since Mary Jane no longer has any interest in Peter and, in fact, refuses to even talk to him, the perfect scenario has been created for Peter to give Felicia a chance, who has been interested in him for a long time.
By the time Peter is talking to Felicia and is about to ask her if she wants to go out with him, she was hoping he would “reiterate that they are and will always be nothing more than friends.” To her surprise, Peter actually tells her that he wanted to be the one to ask her out at least for once.
The fact that Felicia expected Peter’s rejection makes it clear that previously a cycle was repeated of propositions on Felicia’s part that produced nothing but denials on Peter’s part.
However, now Spider-Man has the opportunity and motivation to break that cycle and go after Felicia, giving fans a break from monotony and spinning wheels (at least until Marvel decides to do something concrete with Peter and MJ).
It is more than clear that the Gata Negra deserves more than being rejected over and over againbut only with time will we know if she really accepts Peter’s proposal and decides to go out with him.
