The arrival of the new PlayStation Plus is getting closer and closer. In Asia they are already enjoying the functions and additions to the Sony service, while in Europe we have less than a month left to be able to savor it. However, there are still several issues to polish.
After alleging the Japanese company that an error caused problems with subscription improvements to new levels, now the focus is on the performance of retro titles. This library is accessible if we belong to the PlayStation Plus Premium category, with works from PS3, PS2 and PS1 within reach.
The problem arises with the versions released for the first PlayStation, where we can find Siphon Filter either Tekken 2. From Digital Foundry they have verified that Ape Escape, for example, is the PAL version of the game, instead of the NTSC corresponding to Asia. Therefore, the work runs at 50Hz and 25FPS, resulting in annoying display issues.
And it is that the PS5 can only work with a minimum of 60Hz, which collides with the PAL editions that were designed for 50Hz screens. To correct this situation, Sony has released a patch on the new PlayStation Plus, as has revealed the user Windy Corner TVseeking to increase up to 60Hz.
Apparently, the idea has been to combine frames and the truth is that now several elements of the games are duplicated with a spooky effect. This ghosting is a major problem that Sony must solve, although it cannot be guaranteed that this problem will happen in the rest of the regions.
On the other hand, we can now check the requirements we need on PC to use the new PlayStation Plus in streaming. In turn, Ubisoft + is one of the juiciest additions to the service.
