Lush is one of the most innovative brands in hygiene and cosmetics. Pioneer in the fight against animal cruelty in product testing, they also introduce new versions of classic hygiene products to the market. These last cases are mouthwash and solid toothpaste.
What began as a test to find out if it was well accepted among its clients, now has six different versions. We are used to brushing our teeth with toothpaste, flossing, and finishing with a mouthwash. However, it becomes complicated when we go out to eat or when we are at work part-time. In these cases, chewing gum is a great ally, although these Lush tablets seem to cleanse more deeply.
Solid toothpaste and mouthwash
Lush has four types of round-shaped solid toothpastes to suit different tastes and preferences:
- Boom: Activated Charcoal Blend and Gunpowder Tea Powder
- Dirty: mint and neroli flavor, suitable for whitening teeth
- Refresher: fruity citrus flavor with a fluoride-free baking soda formula. Helps remove stains
- Sparkle: touch of pepper and citrus flavor
On the other hand, they also have two solid mouthwashes:
- Crème de menthe: double action of menthol and wild mint
- Zing: invigorating grapefruit, orange and litsea cubeba, spiced with a hint of Himalayan salt
The truth is that they can perfectly replace the classic toothpaste and liquid mouthwash. As with solid shampoos, this may be a new line of oral cleansing. In addition, it is more convenient to store and transport.
How are they used?
The mode of use is quite simple in both cases.
For the solid toothpaste we will nibble a pill and brush our teeth with a wet toothbrush. We will rinse and spit until our mouth feels clean. We will put the cap back on and screw it on well. This type is ideal for removing stains and whitening as part of your oral hygiene routine. You can use a pill every day. Another option is to use it a couple of times a week to brighten your smile or keep it on hand for when you’ve had too much red wine and coffee.
In the case of mouthwash tablets, they will leave your mouth fresh. This is the perfect complement to the oral hygiene routine. Similar to the rinse, we will put one in the mouth and take a sip of water. Then we will bite the pill, spit and rinse. We will put the cap back on and screw it on well when finished to keep them fresh whenever we carry them.
