Al-Shahrani was carried out on a stretcher and gave the go-ahead to the fans as he was leaving, however his injuries were revealed once he arrived at hospital. Saudi Arabian footballer Yasser Al-Shahrani suffered a broken jaw, facial bones and internal bleeding after colliding with his goalkeeper.
According to the official FIFA account for Arab countries, “Yasser needs quick surgery due to internal bleeding.” The footballer will miss the remainder of the Qatar 2022 World Cup after a spectacular clash he had with goalkeeper Mohammed Al Owais.
