How do companies use SMS?

The Ciu consultancy reports that SMS is a technology from which users are increasingly moving away. Therefore, the SMS became a business medium where they send advertising, surveysamong other messages to maintain communication with consumers.
Fernando Esquivel, director of market research at The Ciu consultancy, explained that this is because messages, unlike WhatsApp, they are more reliable and personal to send information.
