Skateboarding represents a high risk, follow these safety tips:
- Always supervise your child while practicing
- Choose a good-quality board

- Don’t try to do extreme tricks if you start
- Practice in parks designated for skateboarding.
- Wear sneakers that have non-slip soles.
- Always wear protective equipment: helmet, knee pads, shin guards, gloves, shoulder pads, elbow protections and waist protection belts.
Before he starts skating, make sure your child does warm-up exercises so that his joints are lubricated and the risk of injury is reduced, he can jog for at least 10 minutes and move his arms, neck and feet.
When his skating session is over, tell him to do cool down exercises so that his body doesn’t hurt the next day.
