Six bodies have been found abandoned on a highway in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, at kilometer 14 of the El Granillo-San José de los Baylón section. The bodies showed signs of torture, according to local media.
Earlier this Wednesday, the authorities were alerted to the victims, who were on the Parral-Guadalupe y Calvo road. Preliminary reports released by the Chihuahua prosecutor, Roberto Fierro Duarte, indicate that the individuals are members of a family that was murdered in Durango – 630 kilometers from Chihuahua.
The massacre on Wednesday would be related to a double homicide that occurred last week. The murdered persons were domiciled in Guanacevi, Durango.
The local newspaper The Chihuahua Diary reported that a 13-year-old girl survived the massacre against the family. The minor is in a hospital guarded by elements of different police corporations, because she was in custody.
On September 7, nine men were found dead in the municipality of Cuauhtémoc, in Chihuahua. The men were found inside a home on Ninth and Nayarit streets. They all had gunshots.
According to the version of witnesses, on the afternoon of September 7, several individuals aboard three pick-up vehicles arrived at the house, carrying long weapons, who immediately went to the backyard where they shot at those present.
At the scene, several percussion shells of 7-caliber firearms were found. 62 x 39 mm.
