If you are a fan of survival horror surely you have celebrated the recent premiere of Tormented Souls, which without being the eighth wonder of the world is another worthy representative of the genre due to its more humble side. A case somewhat similar to that of Them and Us, another production indie whose development in this case has taken almost eight years (three in Steam Early Access), which is said soon.
TendoGames celebrates that it has finally reached its stable version 1.0 with a final launch through Steam and a timid discount to accompany its release, temporarily placing its price at 30.59 euros. So far so good, you could say. However, it is surprising that it has a DLC of 1.59 euros to unlock its first-person view. And it is not the only one, furthermore.
Logically, this tarnishes its reception, which, by the way, for now is not being too flattering despite the notable previous general criticisms. And let’s not kid ourselves: in the first person it loses its essence. Its grace is to opt for the fixed camera, as in the first Resident Evil, or even to do the same with another in the third person following the scheme of Resident Evil 4.
To show this, nothing better than to remember this gameplay a few months ago with better looking than the unfortunate trailer that TendoGames has now published with that first-person view. After this, Alisa will play soon, which according to her record on Steam will go on sale tomorrow after a delay of several months. And that one does opt for a more classic vein … and above all very retro.
