Discrimination has increased and it is increasingly complex to find employment for senior talent. Legally, a company cannot be forced to hire older adults for its vacancies. Currently, companies are encouraged to create jobs in favor of senior collaborators, but it is not enough. It is unconstitutional to reject a person because of their age.

Older adults need decent employment, which also provides them with medical health services. There are different generations of job seekers, baby boomers Now they are older adults xennials, millennials, centenials they will be, how are the younger generations preparing for their future?

The social burden for the government is unsustainable and we cannot be hopeful of being recipients of scholarships by a paternalistic government.

A company can be denounced before human rights because, for reasons of age, it rejects candidates. But let’s remember that we ourselves also boycott ourselves by not giving him a refresh to our professional career, so we must constantly renew our knowledge. During youth, you do not think about future limitations due to age, prejudices or stereotypes, so you must lead a healthy life, continuously improve and take the initiative to update yourself professionally.

The salaries offered to the elderly are low, for example: a packer, 6 hours of work, a salary of 3,700 pesos per month, without legal benefits. For this reason, workers must reflect on not wasting their income and saving.
