sonic frontiers is SEGA’s new blue hedgehog adventure that will bring the series to the open world genre and is scheduled for release this year. Even though Sonic fans have been unsatisfied with what we’ve seen of Sonic Frontiers, SEGA continues to say that they’re not considering delaying the game to improve its quality.
Sonic Frontiers was announced with a trailer in December of last year, but it wasn’t until the end of May that we started to see different aspects of the game with the videos published by SEGA. Actually, ever since the first 6 minutes of Sonic Frontiers gameplay was shown, fans have been asking for it to be delayed.

During a meeting to discuss the financial results for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, Executive Vice Presidents Koichi Fukazawa and Makoto Takahashi confirmed that SEGA is not considering delaying the release of Sonic Frontiers due to player feedback.
In the presentation, the executives clarified that they are using the feedback of the players to reflect it in certain parts of the development of the game and thus build empathy with the players. However, from what they say, it seems that SEGA will implement the improvements that they think thanks to the feedback of the players after the launch of Sonic Frontiers.
This year we saw the release of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 in theaters and it is already the most successful video game movie in history. The movie was also mentioned in the presentation, as SEGA executives hope that the popularity of Sonic 2 will help boost sales of Sonic Frontiers.
