A minor who was being electrocuted was rescued by elements of the Mexican Army on a street in Teacapán, in the municipality of Escuinapa, Sinaloa. This situation was derived from a power cable that fell from a post after the impact caused by the hurricane Roslyn.
The child was located by personnel from the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), the minor was found on the ground of the wet streets of the town, holding a electric cable in the hand.
Videos broadcast on social networks expose how military personnel reacted after the emergency. Some time later, a uniformed officer came out with tweezers and one of his companions proceeded to cut the electric current cable that the boy was holding in one hand.
The soldiers carried him to take him to a safer place and give him first aid. They then put him in a military van to take him to the community’s Rural Health Center to be treated by health personnel, who immediately stabilized him.
This action by the military was celebrated by the people of the community and Internet users thanked them for their courage, tenacity and work to rescue this child.
